Monday Extended Gathering Choose a gathering that brings positive energy to your group. Perhaps you want to continue 20 Questions from Town Hall last week. Perhaps you want to accept the challenge for February: Create a new gathering! You can trademark it. Tuesday Academic Advisement Reflect on recent successes. What is going well academically? Why is that? Use your advisory routine for Academic Advisement to develop a way to take your successes into new areas of your learning. Wednesday Youth Truth in Project Block & Becky's Advisory Hosts Town Hall & GWT (ODD Wednesday) Friendly reminder to use guided work time routines within Advisory to identify tasks and productively work toward goals. Students will remain in their Advisory Spaces starting today and throughout February. Thursday Indie Lens Students will walk with their Advisors to JMKAC at 9:40 for a prompt 10:00am start of Tell Them We are Rising. We will have an alternative schedule to accommodate the film, meaning Advisory will not meet. Friday Ritual

Monday Gathering Start the week with a gathering that captures the current feelings of Advisory members. The semester begins today and there are several traditional weeks of school ahead. Focus in on this group of people, who they are, what they need, how they can support you. Tuesday Academic Advisement Are you organized for the second half of the Trimester? Use Advisory routines for reflecting on what is going well, why and what isn't going well and why. Wednesday Heather's Advisor Hosts Town Hall & GWT Use Advisory routines for short term goal setting and task management. Thursday Envisioning Futures Olders - Spend time reflecting with Juniors about their experience with ACT practice this week. Juniors should share an "I used to think, Now I think" about their experience this week. Seniors should respond with a connect, extend, challenge. *There will be a financial seminar offered by the LTC career coach. More details to come. Youngers - Spend time anticipating visits to UWM (Grade 9) and UW-Madison / Madison College / Madison Media Institute / Edgewood College (Grade 10). Research the different majors, requirements for admissions, and costs. Choose at least one program at one school that you find interesting. Document your findings in an Advisory folder/notebook or planner. Friday Ritual Talk about EOLs and choose a game to play (Lazy HEP, Spyfall, etc..)
