*Academic Advisement: Draw from your Advisory ritual/routine for this. Focus on success/growth in Trimester 1 - looking specifically at evidence, proficiency, and credits.
Upcoming Events: *Kids who need coats for winter….Advisors should schedule a time to meet with John Mees

*Gathering: Everyone - Trash Talk Tableau
*Don’t forget about the appreciation box outside of the music room. Since we don’t have town hall and giving thanks does not have to be about colonization, writing appreciations (and making them look wall-worthy) for the box might be a good way to conclude the week. *Meet and Greet
*Circle Up *Gathering - Choose a short gathering that encourages students to reflect on their academic//habits this trimester. *Option - Highs and Lows
*Remember to share announcements at the top of this page. *Meet and Greet
*PoL Preparation: Identify the needs of your Advisory. Take some time at the end of Advisory, to have students revisit their Statements of Learning by sharing them and one piece of evidence that best supports their statement. Alternatively, this might be a time to do a gallery walk of PoL planners or just the Statements of Learning, to get feedback and make revisions. *Note: Advisees need to show evidence that they are preparing for their Presentation of Learning; it is not okay to show up and simply wing-it. If a student is not prepared for a PoL, an Advisor can ask them to re-do it at another time when they are more prepared. SENIORS: Optional. Seniors and their parents can schedule meetings with Kimberly to discuss resources for life after high school: applications, financial aid, housing, etc. Students should schedule these after their PoLs are scheduled. To schedule a time, email Kimberly with the proposed time, topic. Advisors can nudge students into this, as needed. Older advisee, advisor, and stand-in parents will model a PoL for youngers and new students. It might be nice for students to bring their PoL Organizer - paper copy from Monday to take notes.)
